Swim clubs allow children ages 5 and up to experience many aquatic activities such as conditional swimming, kayaking, and water polo. Through these activities we will work to grow self-confidence, goal setting, and team building, and prepare children for swim teams, practicing like a team, but without competition.
Swimmers will improve their endurance, strength and skills. Workouts will incorporate all four competitive strokes along with all turns, stroke technique, endurance, breathing techniques, sprinting, fin training, stretches and more. Participants should be able to swim 25 yards.
We also offer Masters Swim Programs for adults, with coached practices to refine swim skills and provide friendly competition with fellow Y members.Click here to find a swim club near you
